A y polarized electromagnetic wave propagating in vaccum is described by
Ē = E° exp[i(300x-400z-wt)]
Calculate the wavelength of the wave.

Kx =300 /m
Kz =400 /m
K²=Kx² + K
Then K = 500 m–¹
Now wave length=2π/K
                               =1.2×10^-2 m
